Truck travel time realibility on freeway facilities in Germany (German name of the project: Zuverlässigkeit des Lkw-Verkehrs auf Netzabschnitten von Autobahnen – ZULANA).

The aim of the project is to develop methods to analyze and monitor the reliability of truck traffic on freeway facilities of federal highways in Germany. For this purpose, navigation data are used, which are enriched with information on velocity, geo-position and a time stamp enabling temporal-spatial analyses. For this purpose, digital data like traffic volume, accidents, construction sites and weather data will be used to measure their influence on the reliability of truck traffic.
