dc.description.abstract	This study examines the teaching of the GPS system in higher education. The focus is on determining the scope, teaching methods, experiences and potential in bachelor’s degree courses in mechanical engineering in Germany. In total, lecturers from 85 of the 115 selected universities took part in the survey, which was conducted between May and September 2023.
